For our latest LA with Kids, we were thrilled to visit a new Los Angeles restaurant called Au Fudge, that not only caters to adults, but kids too!! The concept is actually genius and after testing it out ourselves, I can see many future dates here! At Au Fudge, you can check your kids into a very chic creative space full of wonderful toys, books and games. The best part is that there’s an onsite au pair watching your kids while guiding fun crafts and activities. While the kids are playing, you can be at your table drinking a cocktail, eating delicious food and enjoying some quiet time with your friends, spouse, family members… or alone!! The au pair will walk your kids to your table whenever they want to see you and when the food arrives, so they can eat with you. It was awesome to be able to enjoy breakfast with Zan, knowing that Romeo was having a blast playing with toys and kids in the other room. We tried the lox and bagel board, a yummy homemade waffle board with berries and sweets, an organic cage-free scramble, eggs benedict with a lemon truffle hollandaise sauce and a french omelette with fromage blanc and caviar. Zan is all about caviar and loved his food. Romeo and I devoured the waffles!! We also enjoyed almond milk and soy iced lattes that were wonderful! They have a full, beautifully-designed cocktail bar with handcrafted cocktails, a market place (with toys and fun items to buy), a bakery, coffee shop and you can grab anything to go. In the very back of the restaurant, there’s a Photo Booth and some old school arcade games for older kids. We want to go back for their Friday movie night! They serve popcorn and treats in the creative space with a movie for the kids, while you enjoy the evening in the dining area. If you’re a parent in LA or visiting with kids, definitely check it out!!
