Zan, Romeo and I are very excited to welcome another baby to our family this November! If you follow me on Snapchat, I announced yesterday that I’m 21 weeks pregnant with another baby boy! Romeo was VERY excited about another boy joining the family. I made a surprise cake for him and the smile that came over his face when that frosting was blue was priceless!! Moments later, the excitement of a baby brother vanished and it was quickly followed by, “Can I eat it now?!” Haha! It’s been a very exciting 21 weeks for us, we’ve been reading several books to Romeo about being a big brother and talking about how life with a new baby will change for all of us. I feel like the more we talk to him about it and we’re honest, hopefully he’ll have an easier time gradually adapting. I think about how hard it was for Zan and I those first few weeks bringing home a newborn, so I want to make sure we’re super sensitive to Romeo’s feelings as well. Those newborns… it’s not easy, right mamas?! But I can only imagine how adorable, snuggly and sweet this baby boy will be! It’s been awhile since I’ve changed a diaper or made a bottle, but I’m looking forward to it and also adding another wild, little man to the family! I’ve been picking up baby outfits for him and loving those tiny clothes! Good thing I saved a lot of Romeo’s adorable sweaters and skinny jeans!! The holidays will be incredibly special (and tiring!) this year! PS… It’s fun to look back on the post I wrote when I was pregnant with Romeo! Not too far away from this stage… 26 weeks!
