We were excited to recently team up with goodness knows snack squares to create a charming beach outing! We spend quite a few summer days at the beach because Romeo is a total beach bum and loves everything about it! It’s his favorite thing to do during the summer and luckily, it’s free too! My fave spot to visit is Carpinteria, a beach just south of Santa Barbara. We also love Malibu beaches like Zuma and Point Dume, but they can be so crowded so it’s imperative to arrive early! If we’re staying for a few hours, we bring the umbrella, chairs and a cooler filled with waters, fruit and lots of snacks!
To keep this beach outing charming, I added to my favorite beach items and splurged on a new, chic umbrella (I even got a compliment on it from a stranger!), those gorgeous round beach towels, a gold water bottle and these super cute beach balls! I’ve become obsessed with only buying fun, colorful beach items. The beach is all about fun and it’s Cali, so I like keeping it cheerful and pretty. Creating a charming beach day doesn’t mean you need to go overboard, it’s just about having a few chic items that stand out and keeping things simple.
When it comes snacks, Zan is constantly asking me what I have packed! He loves bars, nuts and dark chocolate, but likes to keep it healthy too. So I brought fruit for Romeo and I and the easy to snack on, goodness knows snack squares. They have 3 delicious flavor combinations and they’re made with dried fruit, nuts and a layer of dark chocolate. There are 4 fun, little squares per package and each, two-bite square is only 40 calories! They’re honestly so good and the perfect beach snack to bring along. I’m also keeping them in my bag from now on to snack on when we’re out and hungry!
