Clik here to view.To celebrate our 2nd sweet baby boy, we happily hosted a charming, modern, fall-themed baby shower with Munchkin! It was such a joy to team up with Munchkin, an adorable brand we’ve used since Romeo was born. I invited some of my special friends for an afternoon of great food and fall fun. Well, we tried to make it as fall as possible, even with the 90 degree weather, by adding a lot of pumpkins! See all of the details below!
The best part of the shower was the gifting station where my guests could fill their bags with all things Munchkin! I loved being able to introduce them to my favorite items and was so grateful that they could take so many wonderful items home! From my fave 360 miracle cups, to bath crayons, Latch baby bottles and darling M- baby clothes… we had such a fun selection of toys and necessities for my friends. See all of their products here!
For food, I had one of my favorite catering companies in Los Angeles, Heirloom, cater the baby shower. To match the overall theme, I chose a fall brunch spread and it was such a hit! They made the most gorgeous fruit platter, fried chicken and waffles, avocado toast, pumpkin bread (everyone’s fave!), vanilla bean scones, a pear salad and quiche! Honestly, their presentation alone is stunning and you can never go wrong.
I personally love when events have activities or unique stations that give guests something to do while socializing and I’ll never throw a party without some type of crafting station and of course NEVER without a dessert station! For the dessert we had Savannah, from HauteSugar Co, spinning an incredible pumpkin chai cotton candy!! It was a charming and delicious touch!
For the craft station, I wanted something that was fall-themed, simple and not too messy for guests. So we set up an area for them to create mini-succulent pumpkins!! They’re no carve and all you need is moss, hot glue, mini pumpkins and some tiny succulents! It was a big hit and even my not-so-crafty guests were able to enjoy and complete one with confidence, haha!
Of course, we played some obligatory baby showers games! We kept them classy and simple though! We did a rubber ducky prize drawing and also played the don’t say “baby” game! The prizes were the best part though! We gave away Munchkin’s VIB (very important baby) gift basket filled with a curated selection of items for the first year. It’s pretty much the perfect gift for any new mama!! We also gave away their amazing Luna baby gate! It’s not just your average gate either, it’s sturdy, lights up and has a sleek modern look to it!
For the cocktails, we served apple cider Moscow Mules and made the Algonquin Bar Punch. Actually, funny story… because one of my sweet friends, Leah, showed up just a few minutes early, I put her to work and had her make the punch as I was rushing to get dressed in time! Luckily, Leah likes cocktails as much as I do, so it turned out great… thanks Leah!!! To make it easy we served flat and sparkling water bottles and sparkling apple cider too!
I kept the decor charming with Harlow and Gray’s gold triangle garland, lots of fairy tale pumpkins (the best kind ever!) and the most gorgeous fall blooms from my friend Erin at White Fig Designs! Flowers are EVERYTHING!!
I was so determined to find the perfect white bar for the party within my budget, which wasn’t happening! So instead, I had one custom built by our carpenter/neighbor for half the price and now I can keep it forever!
And thank you to all of my wonderful friends and sweet blogging buds Catherine, Leah, Mara, Anne, Molly, Amy for being there to celebrate with us!!
