This summer started off with a 12-hour road trip from Southern California to the very top of Northern Cali! My little family of 3 piled into the car and headed up to Crescent City for a 2-week adventure to spend time with family, rest and relax. We stopped at several fun spots along the way to soak in the Golden State, which we love so much! My favorite part of the road trip is always the 101 North from San Francisco, up. Between the countless breathtaking views and wildlife, you want to stop every minute just to capture a quick pic! From the bustling cities, to the pristine beaches, wine country and the magical redwoods there is a whole lot to see in California!
If you’ve ever taken a long road trip where you’re in the car for more than 10 hours, you know that snacks are essential!! Especially wholesome, delicious snacks for the kids because there is no way I’m going to be stuck in a car for 12 hours with a child who has just swallowed the candy bars and junk food picked up at each pit stop! Oh no way! So instead I thought ahead this time and teamed up with NatureBox to try out their fun on-the-go snacks for our trip! It was SO nice having wholesome snacks already packed and ready to eat! I tossed in a few apples, bananas and waters and we were set for our time in the car!
We had a blast tasting each delicious snack as we cruised along, listening to music and chatting. Each of us had our favorite snack. My son absolutely loved the Mini Belgian Waffles and I loved the Lemon Tea Biscuit Cookies and the spicy Jalapeño White Cheddar Popcorn. Zan couldn’t stop snacking on the Pistachio Power Clusters and Blueberry Almond Bites.
