JCPenney’s Get Your Penney’s Worth Event

This week, we headed to downtown Los Angeles with JCPenney and Jerry O’Connell (who is extremely nice and so fun to hang with!), for a really commendable event called Get Your Penney’s Worth! JCPenney wants to bring the value of the penny back and they’re doing some pretty cool things to make sure you never walk past a penny without picking it up again… I’ll be honest, I’ve done it several times and I won’t anymore! They parked their bright red, penny-decorated truck in the middle of Pershing Square and gave away cash prizes using pennies!! It was really fun seeing everyone get so excited over pennies! I love watching people win prizes because it brings a smile to my face.

So in honor of the beautifully-crafted, copper penny, JCPenney will be hosting Penney Day events, starting February 28th in stores and on jcp.com. Costumers will have the opportunity to buy regular priced Arizona brand apparel or accessories and then purchase the second item for a penny!! There will also be in-store items for sale without an additional purchase and priced at only one-cent!

They also sell some pretty cool items at JCP, including the beloved KitchenAid, NutriBullet, Nike, etc. To put it into perspective, save 25,000 pennies and you can buy a KitchenAid Stand Mixer that will last a lifetime. Who thinks they could do that in a year?! I kind of want to challenge myself!
