Bethany and Andrew got married this past summer and it truly was one charming Astoria, Oregon wedding! They chose a location that only hosts 1 to 2 weddings a year called, Alderbrook Station. It’s a 15,000 square foot, three story netshed built in the early 1900’s, that sits on the lower Columbia River in coastal Astoria. The cocktail hour and wedding reception were set up around all of the fishing gear, boats, etc., which added to the rustic charm of the entire wedding!! We stayed in the gorgeous, modern farmhouse built on the property, which was perfect for running back and forth and setting up.

What I loved so much about their wedding was that every detail was a reflection of who they are, which made it an incredibly special day. Also, I have never seen Bethany and Andrew look so dapper in my life, haha!! These two newlyweds are both Phd’s working at the University of Utah and my sister rarely even wears an ounce of makeup! She looked absolutely stunning on her her big day. The cocktail reception was one of my favorite parts. Bethany had a trio band playing, while fresh oysters were served over ice, with grilled corn and the bartenders were mixing up some strong French 75’s! It was really great!

Guests walked up the old wooden stairs to the 2nd floor, where there was a really fun photo booth and their seating cards. The reception was held on the 3rd floor with the most scenic views! Handcrafted pizzas were fired throughout the evening and served with local chowder, fresh salad and even s’mores, yum! The wedding cake was absolutely delicious, with whipped butter frosting… I would highly recommend Dream Cakes if you’re getting married in Oregon, haha!

Celeste Noche photographed the wedding and captured every detail perfectly! I love her lifestyle photography approach as the photos are not only stunning, but truly tell a story of the day. Great job, Celeste!!! She’s also available for travel and photographs weddings around the world!! You can see more of her work here.
